FYI, the Army CoS isn't in the operational Chain of Command. He certainly earned his firing though.

The tradition that fired or retiring generals do not engage in politics or speak out no longer holds. I believed it for a long time too. But by remaining silent about crimes, lack of war plans, or Hegseth's fitness, they are actually choosing politics over the nation. Speak up.
