Me dio las gracias y se fue. Pero unos minutos después no podía dejar de pensar en ello: ”Qué raro es hoy en día que un hombre tenga el valor de acercarse y arriesgarse al rechazo.” Así que volví a buscarlo. Le dije que lo respetaba mucho y lo animé a que siguiera intentándolo. Admitió que es un poco estresante, pero lo hace porque no le han funcionado las aplicaciones de citas. Así que apunté su número y quiero ayudarlo: Tiene 44 años, es alto, guapo, trabaja en el sector tecnológico, es muy sociable y busca novia. #wetsand Maybe this is the last time I talk about Wetsand… maybe yes, maybe not, I don’t know. If they ever show Jo again, I might say something, but for now, I feel like my journey with this story ends here. All I have left is gratitude. To the people who were there, who supported me, who read every one of my analyses… and especially those who became friends. Because Wetsand gave me something very valuable: people. Amazing friends, like Mía, who was the first person I met thanks to this story and became one of my favorite people. And also my groups, both in Spanish and English, who became a huge support. That’s what I’m keeping. Everything I gained matters more to me than any outcome. I also want to thank Jo. For being an incredible character until the very end. For being someone full of love, honest, loyal… an amazingly well-written character that made me love and defend him until the last moment. The only thing I wish… is that his last image wasn’t that. I didn’t want his ending to be just him broken, crying over love. I wish we could have seen him heal, seen him okay… seen his process. I hope someday we get to see Jo being happy. That’s all I can ask for. Like I said before, thanks to Jo… Ian didn’t end up alone. He has Toby. And in a way, that gives me some peace. About the ending… yeah, it was like “ok… I guess.” One chapter crying over Jo, and the next working hard to get a house for TJ… and it’s like, well… that’s how love triangles are. It doesn’t always go the way we want. And we just have to accept it and move forward. Ian made his choice. And we have to respect it. I’m glad to see him at peace. Free from everything that haunted him. And I’m also glad that part of his growth came from Jo. Because Jo was not an irrelevant character. Ian is who he is today, in part, thanks to him. To those who supported me, respected me, and stayed with me: I wish you beautiful things. Truly, thank you for everything. And in general… whatever was once wished upon me or sent my way, may it return. Whether that is positive or negative, that’s up to each person. But yeah… all that’s left is to move forward. Thank you, Jo. Thank you, Ian, for loving Jo. And thank you, Wetsand.
