@wicked_mayfire modpacks can be goofy with spawning rules and stuff. I remember the biggest issues being view distance settings.

@wicked_mayfire If you're on newer versions of Minecraft, you'll need to use some of the more modern farms. I think Endermen farms are king for XP but it has been a while.
