I agree with you 100% but that’s our perspective and I was trying to share a full perspective- I agree it’ll always go up and be more rare, IP has been built for 30 years and is thriving not just surviving. With that said I consider it art and it is only worth what someone else will pay

if you buy pokemon cards to make money you are not investing in assets, you’re speculating on a market similar to fine art, pokemon cards are only worth what the next guy is willing to pay prices could go infinitely higher or to $0 So just buy the characters and art you love
