I mean depending on when you got it it could have def been market at the time! It’s dropped pretty hard the last month ish was $150 beginning of march and $175 around the end of Feb! Negotiating is rough at first but eventually you get the hang of it. Always remember most vendors buy at 70-80% so they always have room 👍

I love this card… but I kinda feel now I overpaid for it😅. What’s the going rate on this these days..

@tm1515152005 Generally that kind of stand sells Chinese import and knock-off toys. That said, the one piece cars on top seem real😅. There is a mall here that have shops that just sell fake cards(packs and boxes).. and other fake brand stuff

@ashrobin Generally how much does it cost for a table at a show? I’m sure it varies, but am curious what kind of range it’s in.

one of the biggest inefficiencies in the Pokemon card market is the fact that normal people (anyone who isn't a vendor) can almost NEVER get FULL market value for whatever their cards are worth if you're new to Pokemon you may not know this, but if you've been around you already know what I mean let's say you buy a card from someone for $500 then lets say that card goes up to $650 in price if you want to sell that card, the MOST you're going to get is 87% if you sell it on eBay, and if you try to sell it in person you're only going to get offered 80% so if you buy a card at $500, and sell it on eBay for $650, you're only getting $560 if you try to sell it in person, you get even less than $560 vendors are usually very strict when it comes to these percentages too whenever they have a card to sell, they always list it at the highest possible price but whenever they are buying cards they always try to buy them at the absolute lowest percentage possible if you're a collector and you simply don't care about pricing or anything like that, then this doesn't really matter but if you're a trader, it matters I personally find this to be one of the most interesting things about the Pokemon card economy, and I wonder how long it stays this way
