I just built an automated sports team newsletter system that is completely housed on Google. 🤯 The workflow: 1️⃣ Coach fills out a short Google Form on their phone. 2️⃣ Script grabs the data, pulls the season schedule, and calculates player stats. 3️⃣ Automatically formats a beautiful HTML email and blasts it to parents, media, players, community, etc. Turning 45 minutes of Sunday busy work into a 2-minute post-game task. It will be customizable to what you want to communicate or emphasize to the recipients. Wrapping up the final template soon. Who wants it when it's done? 🙋‍♂️

Dan Lanning's solution to the College Football Playoff: Move the season up a week. Play every Saturday in December. National Championship on January 1st. Then portal opens and coaches move on. Are you for it or against it? 🤔

@BrennaGreene_ FBS needs to follow any of the lower levels of college playoffs. Simple. Afraid of losing money.

Dan Lanning continues on his crusade this week against the current CFP schedule. "There's clearly a better way... Every playoff game should be played every single weekend until you finish the season... The season ends January 1st... We've given up some of our days to the NFL... Saturdays should be sacred for college football. Every Saturday through the month of December should belong to CFB in my opinion." By the way, Dan Lanning also said earlier this week that he believes all games leading up to the natty should be played at the higher seed's stadium, effectively calling for the end of bowl games.
