Want a more self-reliant, knowledgeable, creative, capable and confident SA? Employ active learning. Encouraging your SA to participate in problem solving is superior to simply providing the answer for them in nearly every way. It's worth the effort. #coaching @DenisonSwimDive

Coaches:to build self-confidence, your SAs need to fail & learn through a steady diet of meaningful challenges. Benching them for the occasional mistake slows learning & diminishes confidence. Show confidence in them by giving them the room to fail & grow. @DenisonSwimDive #coach
