@ChaseCoble82 Yes and no. By rule the ball is dead. Wasn’t a fair catch. But any hand wave. One or two hands, it’s over. Returners want protected, player safety, etc

Don’t care how hard NBC announcers try to sell it to us, that is a horrendous call, you are 100% allowed to tell guys to get away from the ball and then field it, that was clearly not a fair catch signal and neither team thought it was. That’s horrendous

@ChaseCoble82 May not have mattered…. but having 3 seconds to sprint to the LOS, bring a guy in motion, and try to get a pre snap read on a defense and make a good decision didn’t help.
