If your child comes to you to complain about the coach, your first question should be: "What did the coach say when you talked to them about it?"

I post a lot about disorder in schools. While some teachers protest that their own classroom is orderly, no one says that schools in general are orderly. This is telling.

If only there were cameras in every classroom in America. The public would finally understand what a crisis of disorder we have.

Teachers who 'complain' are often the ones challenging the status quo. The ones who don't accept environments where kids can't learn, thrive and be safe. Those who quietly tolerate, deny, and bring toxic positivity may seem 'more professional', but they don't fix anything!
