The Portage Sports and Jack Kohl Realty Player of the Game on Friday was Streetsboro boys basketball senior Ethan Laryea. In the Rockets' 54-44 come-from-behind home victory over the Woodridge Bulldogs, Laryea had 18 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Streetsboro takes down Coventry for their 4th win in the last 5 games.

@briankollars Why was this not a Pirate TD? He was never tackled and no whistle was blown by the refs. Untimed down was a coward move by refs afraid to get killed leaving the game by an angry Galion home crowd.
