Surely the coaching staff is soon going to be unemployed?
From my understanding, Stanford struggles with acceptance based on academic standards. I also heard that if they want someone from the portal, the player had to have applied and been accepted in Fall 2025.

@jplnev @StanfordRivals Something has to happen sooner. Whatever is motivating the players to transfer needs to be addressed. Whether its rules, policies, more NIL, or coaches, changes need to happen. We can’t wait another season. The bleeding is happening now.

@ChrisLaPuma Chris I’m aware basketball isn’t the only thing that matters. I’m not dense. The fact of the matter is, Stanford is no longer a championship caliber program and as a fan with no ties to the university and just a fan of the basketball program, I’m losing interest quickly.

It’s tough being a fan of Women’s College Basketball these days. You try to fall in love with players who come to your favorite program and the transfer portal just ruins things.
Especially when players usually get a degree in 3 years, they’re out.

@CodeRedCard There are lots of factors that can go into a decision. I never speculate. Lumi Kostmayer and Ryan Campbell were grad transfers out of Stanford Women's Soccer. I would never say "the soccer isn't there."
