John Steinbeck is another author youโ€™re introduced to, and you just fall completely in love with his writing. He writes so beautifully, East of Eden is such a masterpiece.

I was talking to my students about this after reading their midterm essays. I could tell that they wanted to show to me that they knew and had all the data and information. So Iโ€™m having them read some of the greats to encourage them to be more open and entertaining with style.

What makes personal libraries special, in my opinion, is that every book I own has a story. I either purchased it myself or someone gave it to me, which makes it very meaningful. Book by book, Iโ€™ve built my library, and each one represents a choice or a memory.

The older you get the more youโ€™ll realize that everything really is that deep. the people you confide in, trust, date, become friends with, the opportunities you take. What you watch & listen to. What you eat & even what you consume mentally, emotionally & spiritually.
