Long car journeys help me contemplate things, and there are a number of issues I’ve been considering that I think deserve a more significant analysis than I can devote the energy to at the minute, so I might write about that in The next few days. But one point I can make now is this: Weak men try to intimidate and break strong women, real men see a strong woman lift her up so she becomes even stronger I’m so privileged to been able to know so many such woman. X

Today I went out with one of my bestest friends for her birthday I took my own sandwiches & had one alcohol free gin 😊 I'm so chuffed with the present I bought her as she photographs butterfly's, her fave colour is green & her name is Sarah! 😁

Some sad news at lunchtime a neighbour has died of cancer aged 60… was only diagnosed 3 months ago Live your life! Had a lovely swim in the sunshine this afternoon then called in on a friend on the way home & sat in her beautiful garden drinking tea putting the world to rights

Got Rosie a new dress today, to wear for her mum's funeral. Was going to look for something black, but thought sod it, she can be in something nice. It'll be a difficult enough day for her as is. It's blue & white with flowers & bunny rabbits on it. So there.

Tonight I have confronted & shared things with my bestie that I have never told a soul I'm not sure how I feel She responded 10000% correctly ❤️ with compassion, wisdom & love ❤️ I WILL be OK I think 👍👍 A hug would be nice

@EmmaJanesLife I’m estranged from a step sister, we used to be close but unfortunately things went wrong. Saw her at a family funeral and she blanked me then tried to get in touch via a letter. I’m sorry but it was to little to late.

It is my sister's birthday today I have found today, and the build up, extremely hard We are estranged. It's far deeper than a difference of opinion or 'fall out' so please don't judge I'm not sorry but I am very sad things couldn't have been different

The pursuit of Boris continues. He's been a bit spooked the last couple of days which is my fault for rotating the bed mattress whilst he was under it. As a result his appetite has dulled a bit but he's fine in every other way, and he came out tonight before I went to bed. 😸
