Good morning Swappers! Not trying to throw anyone's life into a tailspin but we have to make a small adjustment to the hours for the next couple of days. For today 10/20 and tomorrow 10/21 the Swap will be opening at 11am. Sorry for the inconvenience or any chaos this may cause!

Comic publishing is a rough go and great series don’t always find an audience. This Poison Ivy is the exact kind of thing the Swap wants from mainstream publishers. So glad to hear this will continue for another 6 issues.

Being unavailable on Tuesdays won’t immediately disqualify exceptional candidates. But it definitely won’t work in your favor either. Most of all we are looking for someone who is smart, fun, fits the Swap ethos and wants to learn more about the amazing industry of comics.

We are looking for a new part-time employee. We are looking for someone to work approximately 10-15 hours/week. No comic knowledge but lots of other experience? We love it! Lots of comic knowledge but no retail, customer service or management experience? Oof, not great.

Hey all! Quick note to say we have to adjust the store hours for the next 2 days in a VERY minor. On Thurs 7/21 & Fri 7/22 the Swap will be opening at 11am instead of 10am. We wanted to put the info out there just in case anyone had specific plans. Sorry for any inconvenience!

@Joe_Quinones Getting @DCComics to do a reprint of the original Deluxe HC would be a great start. Not enough people have seen this amazing stuff. And roll that right into a new quarterly ongoing with the best of the best out there doing new work. Instant hit.

Been around long enough to remember selling this series. It was glorious. Different comic market now but we have always been the exact kind of store this book belongs in. We would sell SO much of an updated version. Check the thread for those mentioned as new possibilities. 🔥

Visited @ComicSwap in State College, PA the other day. Catherine IMMEDIATELY went for the #MsMarvel Little Golden Book. Thanks to James at the shop for the other recommendations! Yay comics!

Hey, if your comic shop wants to do a book club event for the Strange Adventures collection hit me up, I’d love to cam in and answer questions or whatever!

Under the circumstances how are we supposed to trust anything with complete certainty unless you publicly say "We are using X and Y companies for correspondence". We are trying to be patient but could really use some more info.

Hey @DCD_Nexus - we realize things are not going so well right now but some kind of official statement about how you are communicating with accounts would be appreciated. We am getting emails from outside sources claiming to be from DCD without any actual confirmation from you.

@indiebound @librofm Great suggestions! Another good one, connected to recommendations - buy off the shelf instead of special ordering. Supply chain issues may prevent us from getting the exact thing you want, but every bookseller in the world already has something on the shelf that you need!
