After thorough investigative work by our detectives, the suspicious death from overnight yesterday in which a 23-year-old woman was found in the 6200 block of Glencoe Street with apparent head trauma is now being investigated as a potential suicide.

56th Ave is now open after a crash shut it down for the entirety of today.

Because of this crash 56th Ave is closed in both directions near Sand Creek Dr S due to bridge damage & falling concrete.
I-270 remains open, but debris risk keeps 56th closed until further notice. Please use alternate routes.

SERIOUS INJURY COLLISION ON I-270 WB: The interstate is shutdown at Vasquez while we investigate a head-on crash that involved a possible wrong-way driver.
Drivers of both involved vehicles were transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.

CCPD OFFICERS WORK FATAL CRASH AT TOWER & 81ST OVERNIGHT:
