Republicans are in *disarray* on the SAVE America Act - Some Rs aren't even super happy with the product. One senator told me: “I don’t think they have all the right people in writing the bill. They should have involved people that have actually worked in elections before" - Collins warning against further changes to bill: A "mistake" to set "restrictions on state’s abilities to set the rules for absentee ballots" - House Rs feuding with Senate Rs, threatening to block bills - Trump heaping pressure on Thune (who is being defended by everyone from Collins to Tuberville to Rick Scott to Cornyn). - Senate Rs totally divided, some want to kill filibuster, others wants to do talking filibuster (which would delay Mullin confirmation, potential DHS deal). Rand says they can learn very quickly if they have votes for talking filibuster - The whole issue is exhausting Senate Rs. Sen. Kennedy: “I’m talked out on the SAVE Act"

Happy Women’s History Month from President Trump???

Leavitt argued that the act—if realized—would not prevent married women from voting. Seconds later, she admitted that the bill actually would require married women and anyone else who has changed their name to re-register before they vote. trib.al/fz0FkDb
