3 days of fascinating sessions with the @ConstantiaRoute talking #seriousaboutSauvignon. I now know more than I think I ever have about the grape - & still I learnt more from the winemakers every day. Top-class wines & I hope we've spread the Sauvvie love this week.

For anyone who does like older vintages of sauvignon blanc, @KleinConstantia offer a library tasting - and @ConstantiaRoute wineries will also be doing so. Also note that the KC 2010 was bottled under screwcap.

@BeyondBuiten 2012 Hussey's Vlei is insanely good! Fantastic body & length. Brad Paton said it was a magical year - one of the best they'd had. Lasted so well - rich, superb palate weight & it lingers. Unreleased 2020 also showing well. True expression of site. @ConstantiaRoute

Biggest take away from this @ConstantiaRoute sauvignon blanc tasting is the ageability of the wines. Structured, elegant and genuinely interesting - really fascinating. Massive thanks to the producers.
