Would you rather: #bike in heat or bike in wind? Me: heat. It's predictable & measurable. You (almost) never get "65 w. patches of 95" but you DO get 30mph gusts. Also, the wx report won't miss a random burst of heat, but will miss the odd wind tunnel made by buildings, etc.
