HIM: Cooper Garrison absorbs the very tough loss. He scattered 6 hits & struck out 11 (0 walks) over 9.1 innings. He was coming off his career-high, 12-strikeout effort vs. East Central last Saturday. He finished with 130 pitches (86 strikes).

BSB: The Lions leave 2 stranded on T10. Cooper Garrison (he CAN pass the “I’m a human” tests, we promise) heads back to the mound to try to push this to 11. 9 of his 11 Ks have come over the last 4 innings. 141 pitches is his season high (vs. Gulf Coast). He sits at 120.

Line up for game one of the NJCAA Reg. 23 Best-of-Three series at Jones. Cooper Garrison (6-3) will have the start on the mound. Cooper averaged throwing 111 pitches per MACCC start this season & pitched at least into the seventh inning during all eight of his conference starts.

BSB: Cooper Garrison’s very impressive day is done. He pitched 7.1 innings, gave up 6 hits, 1 run, walked 2, and struck out 12. Riley Myers in now in relief.

BSB: It’s still 2-0 Lions in M6 and Cooper Garrison is up to 11 K in the game and is at 103 career strikeouts at EMCC.

BSB: EMCC 10, CLCC 7 final in game 1. JP Yates & Colin Boyd with 2 hits each; Cooper Garrison gets the win & ties L. Scruggs with team-leading 6-3 record. Garrison had 7 strike outs and only one walk in 7 innings The Lions are 29-17/15-10 going for win 30 in G2 (1st since 2014)

BSB: LIONS WIN! EMCC 9, SMCC 2 final in game one. Cooper Garrison gets the win to go 5-3 on the season. Jackson Rodgers and Colin Boyd with two hits each; Ayden Alsobrooks had a triple & 3 RBI. Lions now 27-15, 13-8. Game two coming up.
