Manifesto: ⚫
Cosmo is not just a visual character but a conceptual embodiment shaped by profound influences. Inspired by Roland Barthes’s exploration of the fluidity of meaning, André Masson’s surreal reflections of the unconscious, and René Magritte’s surreal visual language.
Cosmo exists as a hovering presence, both familiar and unknowable. It never touches the ground, representing a symbol that defies fixed interpretation and invites endless contemplation. Cosmo embodies the surreal dance between meaning and ambiguity, the conscious and the unconscious.
Grateful for the inspiration from Roland Barthes, André Masson, and René Magritte, whose works I studied during my PhD research. Cosmo is born out of my academic journey, merging philosophical inquiry with surreal visual expression.
