I don’t usually get involved in this kind of thing, but this really needed saying. Blaming Louis for how some fans behave at barricade feels completely off. At the end of the day, it’s about respect, simple as that. Fans need to take a step back and put themselves in his position. If the roles were reversed and someone treated them that way, they wouldn’t be okay with it. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment, but that doesn’t excuse crossing boundaries or forgetting basic decency. Louis goes out of his way to give a part of himself and create those close, personal moments with fans and that’s not something every artist does. It comes from a place of trust and appreciation. The least that can be done in return is to respect him, his space, and his humanity. If that respect isn’t there, those moments won’t last. It’s not about limiting fans, it’s about preserving something special. That kind of connection only works when it’s mutual, and it’s on fans to make sure it stays that way.

None of us need to be the fandom police. Getting glee out of harassing other fans just isn't it - seriously, unless someone is hurting someone else, just mind your own business. IMO
