The things we tell ourselves online, completely different from the reality. This is the moment when a VW Golf R (MK6) overtook a Mercedes Benz E250CDi (W212) thinking he has more power, and got humiliated. โข E250 has a top speed of 250km/h. In the video it looks like it is running 180-210km/h. Meanwhile; โข Golf R has a top speed of 300km/h, in the video the speedometer shows 260km/h. That Golf looks like it is parked on the road. Can we trust dashโs speed?

The one in the video is W212 (2013 model). Top speed is 260km/h and limited to ~255km/h for diesel engines. See the headlights. What you have there looks like a newer version 2016 to 2021 models.
