I've seen alot either thrive or sink in them. My friends and I are currently working on one ourselves. It's gonna be more of a place to make friends and build relationships that lead to safe collabs ontop of helping each other grow. While I think this is the main goal for Lots, you always have to be careful of the drama side like anything. People will be people. I think as long as everyone in the group remains respectful and you each stay true to who you are and not let the idea of being in a "group" get to your head. They're really helpful for making friends and learning. But the moment people forget respect or start thinking they're better then people is when it falls apart. Even showing care and respect towards just other people is a big deal. I've seen lots of people join groups and treat their old friends like dirt or join a "bigger" group to treat the old like dirt. Having a support system is great but at the end of the day, we are all socially awkward people looking to make friends and we have to remeber our roots and be greatful for being able to take the steps the support system helps us with.
