@cirnosad Just thinking of tonight's events, now that we see a MH-6M was used, it must have taken off from Kuwait being short range & can't refuel in air. Earlier in the night we had Iran hammering US base Camp Buehring in Kuwait again. Wonder if they caught any more planes on the tarmac?

That big "fireball" we saw last night? It may actually have been a MC130J refuelling two HH60Gs before it was shot down. Note their proximity! Not an independent crash.
How could this happen? I have a theory.
Because of the amount of fuel within it, an explosion and fire can almost immediately spread to the helicopters connected to it.

It added that American aircraft involved in the mission, including two Black Hawk helicopters and a C-130 military transport plane, were targeted and reportedly set ablaze during the operation.
The IRGC also highlighted that Donald Trump claimed a special operation had been carried out to rescue the downed pilot, portraying it as an attempt to cover up a major setback.

He never even released the pilot's name. I could appear on television in a few hours myself and claim to be the pilot.
The only thing we can verify is the MC-130J blown up on the ground along with the HH-60s.
