Not all post-quantum security is the same. @quipnetwork chose WOTS+, a hash-based signature, as the base of its system. Why WOTS+? It uses simple hash functions like SHA-256. Even with quantum computers, the attack power is limited. It is much safer compared to ECC or RSA, which can be broken faster in the future. Some new systems like lattice-based methods are still developing. They are more complex, need bigger data, and still face research risks. Satoshi Nakamoto was famously calm about the Quantum Threat. In the Bitcointalk post from July 10, 2010. Satoshi outlined the Golden Path for blockchain survival: if the threat is gradual the network simply upgrades its signatures and users re-sign their assets into a stronger vault.
