@CrystalMarieCom @Frediculous Rh, I've been told multiple times over the years that I needed to hire women and minorities. I LITERALLY had to create a position for this. So don't act like the sentiment just magically appeared. You all did this to yourselves.

I will never forget the time this white man told me that our employer was so focused on DEI that the only way you could get promoted was if you were a woman or a person of color. 83% of our company's people leaders were white and male. Less than 5% were women of color. 🥴

Been doing contract/fractional for 5 mos. Still building on the side but Monday I start a new new FT. Was too perfect to pass up. Another first role of its kind. I love these types of builder roles. The LA HQ is literally right down the street from me in Playa. 5min drive. 25min walk. 10min bike ride. Perfect commute considering I don't have a car. 🙏 Have a great weekend everyone.

@Frediculous Utility employee here. Nest thermostats are pretty but incompatible w/ many features of modern Hvac systems. Any Wi-Fi enabled thermostat has the ability to be utility managed. Depending on where U live, it can be controlled w/out your permission to prevent a blackout.

@KevOnStage Me. More messy than dirty. But I am pretty intense now. We don't go to bed without cleaning the floors and wiping everything down. It took my mom a while to not be shocked when she came over.

Is it just me, or do a lot of Black novels have characters that are mixed race and/or have light eyes? It’s very weird and the authors themselves never look like that.
