Attention campers - the golf course is now open. Do not look directly into the eyes of Golfy, the Golf Mascot. He will take that as a threat and send you to the Golf Dimension where he will hunt you for sport.

Its strange. With the knowledge that this is the last camp ever I find myself idling more than usual. As if trying just to take in and remember what will soon be gone. I suppose life is full of goodbyes, some of which really are forever.

This is a reminder to campers new and old - stay out of the deep woods. They're dangerous. "Oh but camp is all about danger" Yeah but this isn't the fun danger. There are things there that will eat you alive. Literally.

Useful hiking/survival tip: Trees grow to their fullest capacity in rich soil with suitable environment. Even such a tree can be cut for firewood to tell a story around. But even from its ashes, a new seed will spring to life. Ashes make for nutritious soil 🥳

That was a nice long swim, wonder what I should do next... perhaps light a fire or relax on the beach?
