After reviewing various model guidance this morning and afternoon, I've settled on a general forecast of 30 to 50 cm for roughly the eastern half of Newfoundland.

Most of the snowfall in southern and eastern areas will occur between tonight and Tuesday morning. The Burin and Avalon Peninsulas will experience a transition to rain, followed by ice pellets and freezing rain.
This change will begin in the Metro area around 9 or 10 AM, and earlier further south. By noon, the frozen stuff should be done in the Metro area...
Areas west of the Avalon (except the Burin Peninsula) will see mostly snow. This will start tonight and continue into Tuesday night before ending.
