It's the golden age to use subsidized AI credits and max out every subscription you have.

One place you'll notice is Claude still gets stuck learning how to use each web app interface. As opposed to saying use Gmail to send drafts tell it exactly what to do. Click the compose button on the right side of the screen, click the x in the top right to auto save to drafts etc... The more specific you are the better it will run in browser... Have fun out there.

1. Set up a new task in Claude Cowork. 2. Have it create a spreadsheet with a specific target industry (beauty/wellness D2C brands). 3. Tell it to identify key decision makers that would be able to greenlight your type of work 4. Claude researches companies, finds the right contacts, and generates email variations. 5. Tell it to filter emails through ZeroBounce so that you reduce bounces. 6. Write a basic template that Claude can adjust for each contact (this should be in your spreadsheet) 7. Personalized Gmail drafts appear in my account. Subject line, name, full draft all filled in. 8. I do a manual review, hit send, and ask Claude to update the sheet.

Used Claude to build out a BD system that: - Identifies new business prospects. - Puts a personalized draft in gmail. - Filters emails for bounces. - Keeps spreadsheet updated as I click send. It's never been a better time to be an entrepreneur. Here's how I did it:

I might be too much of an optimist but I just don’t buy the permanent underclass thing. I just think no matter how smart AI gets, there’s no way a motivated person will wake up each day and be unable to contribute to society.

At a certain point every AI image and video model becomes excellent. At that point, teams with great creative instincts, excellent collaboration skills and a nuanced ability to create winning ideas will come out on top.

Noticings and learnings from Miami and Tampa last week: I spent last week in Florida, with plenty of conversations with founders, investors, and operators. 1. Florida is deeper in life sciences, biotech, and health tech than many people realize, along with pockets of deep tech and medical devices. It feels less like a few isolated companies and more like actual clusters forming. 2. The early stage culture feels notably collaborative. Founders and investors seem willing to help each other, share deal flow, and generally play nicely in the early rounds, and the baton passing to later stage southeast investors is smooth. 3. The founders building there increasingly feel intentional rather than bright-eyed optimistic. Covid Miami had more of a reputation as a place people could move and try something. What I’m seeing now are founders who chose Florida because it fits their sector, their network, or the type of company they want to build. Health tech in particular seems to have a real home there. Between hospitals, research institutions, and talent moving in or coming out of institutions there, founders have the right partners and customer access. 4. The geographic shift in venture is non-trivial. Last year the Southeast passed the Northeast in number of venture rounds under $100M. 5. Later stage capital rounds are still thinner locally, which makes sense given the ecosystem is younger. 6. On a personal note, my best performing investment ever (out of 100+) came out of Miami, and my most recent investment is also based there. So I admittedly like to keep an extra eye towards whats coming out of the region. Curious to see how it evolves over the next five to ten years.
