@TankEvanz@SuperiorheroN That’s true but after that DS doesn’t have a lot of content. JJK is gonna have season 4 next year, Gojo v. Sukuna/Shinjuku (movie or weekly it’s gonna be one of the biggest fights ever), and a good chance Modulo gets animated as well. It’s just gonna be around longer.
Demon Slayer has better box office records, along with much higher manga sales and anime achievements.
Influence is one area JJK has the edge, but let's wait few years for that. We’ll have to see how JJK sustains over the next five years to even call it a modern day dragon ball.
@Valerie_tbh He is an essentialist but at the same time he knew they were human, his belief was that everybody from the Island was inherently evil and wouldn’t or couldn’t change. Personally I don’t think it’s his belief that they aren’t human that made him commit the Malediction but a-
@Valerie_tbh I don’t think that’s true. When we first learn about the Malediction it tells us that the Mikaboshi are human and that they surrendered but Akemura still decided to go through with the Malediction based on his own beliefs.
@DCeo_00 see that's the thing, I think akemura is simply wrong in his calculations. Because he doesn't count mikaboshi civilians as humans, his flaw is that he didn't understand the parameters properly due to propagandizing.

@Valerie_tbh Also that’s kinda of slippery slope saying “I don’t care how evil an act is” because we have an example of this in the story with the Malediction which was the genocide of 200k people. Regardless of what some of them might have done that’s an extreme case of murder but even so-
@Valerie_tbh Just like Chihiro and Hiruhiko said, Killing is killing no matter what. While you are probably right about all the people Chihiro killed being evil it doesn’t change the fact he killed them. I also think the idea of hell is skewed and definitely distorted but in their belief-
@DCeo_00 THIS PAGE!!!!! UGH! I love Shiba, but I would love to know more about his mindset here. He knows how to stop Chihiro but refuses to for whatever reason. Is it because he wants vengeance too? I wonder if the 3-year time skip could tell us why
Going through this thread and feeling the sickening pit in my stomach grow deeper. Kagurabachi really is a middle finger to all the adults who failed the younger generations
