That’s an 8-0 run for the Cavs since Zion checked back in.

The best thing the Cavs have done defensively is force the Pelicans into an equal opportunity offense. Outside of Zion in the third, no one has been able to put together a rhythm.

Pels’ bench got off to a really good start, scoring 20 of the first 40 points. They’ve only scored 8 since.

Last 10 games entering tonight, the Pelicans have been the 5th-best team in the NBA (13.8) in the 3rd Quarter. New Orleans is 8th in offense (126.2) and 9th in defense (112.4) during that stretch. Another strong 3Q tonight. Borrego continues to push the right buttons.

Trey Murphy with 201 triples this season, his 2nd w/ 200+ and 1st since 2022-23. He trails CJ McCollum by 38 for the franchise single-season record (239). He and CJ are the only Pelicans with multiple seasons with 200 3PM in a season.
