The 4 highest beta plays over a billion marketcap are all crypto related. So far 2026 has started out as a high beta season and this could continue as money starts rotating out of the bigger names. Crypto could be leveraged by large institutions to take advantage of this.

There's an argument to be made that right now the largest purchases of Bitcoin are from banks, institutions, and companies. I'm not ready to believe that narrative yet but the largest sellers are retail, and the buyers are institutional.
