ada satu temen korea ku dari lahir sampe umur 20an di Jakarta terus pindah ke Korea. Tahun lalu dia kekeuh bgt mau pindah ke Indo for good, aku orang yang menentang keras buat idenya itu.
Setelah beberapa bulan menimbang2 dan juga mulai muncul berita kurang baik dari negara besar setiap harinya, dia mutusin buat stay di Korea dan mulai belajar mencintai negaranya dengan segala benefit yg dia punya sebagai warga negara Korea.
Lega karena seengganya dia mikirin mateng2 dan mau dengerin karena gak kebayang aja kalau dia beneran pindah ke indo :"

I hope those who fanned the flames are content with themselves. Because they knew this violence was coming. You can't light the touch paper and expect us to believe you when you walk away and say "how awful".

This heartbroken uncle raised his niece from childhood . He found out she told everyone that he “was a piece of trash and he did nothing for her”.
Here he is throwing all of her things on the front lawn !
Clearly this has affected him tremendously and judging by the amount of things it looks like he did his very best for her . Some people might say it’s too harsh or he’s overreacting but in this case, I don’t think so..

The reason is that American team sports are all basically war games. Our basic nature is, as Jim Webb wrote: "Born Fighting." All our native sports sublimate effective approaches to mass violence.
Football is group strike and run tactics - in armor. Baseball is applied ballistics. Basketball is small squad dynamic coordination tactics with ballistic components. Hockey - say no more - like a football/basketball hybrid on meth, with personal combat sidelights.
I don't know what soccer is, but it isn't any of that.

This joke from the Simpsons from 1997 was funny because the idea that being “the greatest nation on earth” at soccer of all things actually mattered or was something Americans would have any reason to care about was, as it should be, a silly gag to laugh at. These countries are largely irrelevant also-rans on the world stage, often kind of sad impoverished people living in open air museums coasting on the ambitions and industrious spirits of their ancestors that clearly weren’t passed down to the modern day citizenry. For them the World Cup and maybe Eurovision is their only brief glimpse of being notable for any current achievement
