@AWC_Care Ongoing saga. Train late. On board staff say getting off at Wolverhampton and no staff for first class after that. No hot drinks or food either. I know its a 'first world' issue but spoiling husbands birthday treat. And being a member of Club Avanti means nothing.

@AvantiWestCoast hey avanti. Spent a lot of money on first class tickets only to find first class lounge at Birmingham New Street shut. Told this happens often. Its part of the first class experience - disappointed.

Good morning all, Ryan is 29 today, Ryan's the most fantastic cheeky mischievous young man you will ever meet, hes autistic, he goes to a daycentre so doesn't have the traditional circle of friends that many people his own age, the photo below is from Ryan's first ever black tie event they other week where he won a award for his amazing knowledge of music, please wish Ryan a happy birthday.

Ryan won a award "Trivia Titan Award" at his daycentres black tie event, "in recognition of his knowledge and talents in all topics " he's never won a award before, never been to a black tie event before, and he never ever wears suits, oh he also had candy floss today for the first time ever too, autism hey, nothing happens ever for years , then everything happens all at once, today was a day for a lot of firsts. just because something has never happened doesn't mean it never will.

Good morning all, my twitter is the reason I have my job, I'd do tweets about what worked for us, then parents carers and professionals would ask for advice i then started doing talks at university's i even helped produce advice leaflets for the NHS all for free, im now incredibly lucky to be employed, im working on a website to help parents going through the EHCP process, part of that is also giving parents hints and tips from my own lived experience, today im delivering my first webinar its a internal one to around 20 people that have been invited, im extremely nervous.
