Lo & behold the Nigerian dream. "I better pass my neighbor." Classism. I get car, other people no get. I carry car go NYSC camp, I dey chill for my car while others dey parade ground. I wear NYSC uniform, you never wear am. A society of slaves and imbecils. Individualistic classists.

I admire myself a lot as a man, the heart. the hustle. my aura.

I strongly dislike Nigerian "hustle" culture. The end game is always money. Not meaning, legacy or anything that outlives you.

I noticed something about environment. When you are surrounded by broke people, it starts to feel like everyone is struggling, like the economy is collapsing and no one has money, and even if you do, you start thinking you might lose it. When you are around entrepreneurs and people who are building things, it feels like money and opportunities are everywhere, even when you personally have less. Your environment shapes what you believe is possible.

Once you determine that your current situation is beneath you, you now have a duty to yourself to rise above it. Needless to say, this will involve a negotiation between fate and willpower. Good luck.

From a young age I just knew there were no rules I wanted to abide by. I’ll make my own and follow those. Nobody running me. Not in my world.

I recently heard someone say: "The amount of good things in your life depends on your ability to notice them." I can't see it any other way now.

The longer you delay building the life you actually want, the more likely you are to normalize a weaker substitute. Drift hardens into identity faster than people realize.

I apologize if I don’t reach out anymore. My life is falling apart. I’m sad almost every time, fighting for my life every day, second guessing my career path, tired from a job I don’t like, confused, and sleeping whenever I get free time just to escape reality.
