I know you haven’t done it for shock value, but when there’s no indication of how the public can help, those more cynical than me could interpret it as profiting from people’s vulnerabilities.

@DalyReads @Hilary_W @EdinburghLive_ Of course, I’m not saying you shouldn’t tell the stories 🙂 I just think it might have more impact (for people going through similar, & maybe for the reader) if there was a purpose/call to action, rather than just telling them for what could come across as shock value’s sake.

@DalyReads @Hilary_W @EdinburghLive_ Yes, I saw the links - but like I said, there’s no call to action. It’s devastating that people are struggling like that, & great that you guys are highlighting it, but without them having a purpose it just looks like using vulnerable people’s stories to grab headlines.
