It's almost #indieapril so I'm once again asking for your books. Every April I pick 5-10 indie books to read and possibly review.
While I like standalone horror and scifi, I'm open to any genre right now. So, go nuts.

#booktwt#BookTwitter is trending now. Why don't you drop a book, movie, or music album that you love? Fine if it's yours. I'm going to drop mine in the comments, so this tweet doesn't get shadow banned.
This is a tough year for people with friggatriskaidekaphobia - a fear of Friday the 13th. 2026 has three of them!
@SU_VPA horror film expert Kendall Phillips (@DarkProjections) says superstitions around days like Friday the 13th are our way of making sense of the reality that "stuff just happens." @nytimes@SopanDebnytimes.com/2026/03/13/us/…
I'm looking for a new Indie book to read. Have you read a good one lately? Do you have a recommendation? I lean towards science fiction and horror, but I'm open to most genres.
@DNicholsAuthor I am also absolutely a 'title first' kind of writer. And, to be honest, I find it painful when I later realize I have to change the title.
I confess...I absolutely can't start a new book unless I have the title first and check Amazon to make sure it's not taken. Only then can I move ahead and start cranking out the first page.
Anyone else like that?
