You'd have to get sneakier about it, like ride with a friend using out of state plates to the fun store. It's absurd that would be a felony. Sounds like someone needs to gather up the homies and liberate CA from a totalitarian government. I mean, like significantly worse than the real US, even.

At Turner's today because I was considering picking up a gun before Gavin's new tax. Apparently a lot of people had the same idea. I'm currently #35 on the list, and they are serving up to #14. And if you know how California gun stores work thanks to the laws here, this line will not move fast. This is probably a two hour wait...
