Unfortunately some psychiatrists still refuse to acknowledge ADHD, the first one I saw refused to test me despite me bringing up that it literally runs in my family (and have been tested as well)
Doesn't hurt to get a second opinion if you can

My new Psychiatrist tested me for ADHD because he didnโt trust the place that diagnosed me in 2021 and he says I donโt have it. This has sent me into a existential crisis because if I donโt have ADHD that makes I have no excuse and Iโm actually just a dumb idiot whose brain
