@Delicious So if it appears to log me in, but the page is entirely blank below the header, does that mean I didn’t opt-in to the AVOS transfer thingy? Just curious. I switched to @Pinboard way back when, so I think I must have exported then. I just wondered what my account would show!

Delicious should now be back up in read-only mode, for those who can remember their password. You can export your bookmarks or link them with a Pinboard account. -> del.icio.us

Just want to boast that a typical del.icio.us page is 3.2 KB in size and loads in a quarter of a second. We had the technology.

Alternatively, I'm open to acquiring Yahoo on fair terms, especially if you still have the remaining del.icio.us bookmarks.

If you were able to log in to del.icio.us but only saw a blank page, this bug should now be fixed (it was due to the PHP type checker freaking out at untitled bookmarks)

@Delicious I imported my bookmarks into Pinboard a long time ago, is there some action I'd probably want to take now?

@arranrp My understanding is that only data from people who opted in 2010 transferred over. If you give me your username, I can check

@jjdelc If you didn't opt-in to the data transfer when AVOS bought delicious in 2010, your data didn't leave Yahoo and was likely deleted.

@Delicious I have the right username, bc the new act email I have. I don't recall anything about such sale or opting out. So this is not the full thing?

@jjdelc Sounds like you need the ''forgot username' page, tbh. If you didn't opt in to the AVOS sale in 2010, your stuff may be gone.

@Delicious My username isn't showing. I have my act confirmation email from 2005 though. I'll wait for the "Forgot password" page to work

@aadipa @lissnup Some users don't seem to have a shard assigned in the database, although the actual data exists. This is fixable and hopefully will restore even more bookmarks
