In the afternoon, we put our culinary skills to the test. We practised peeling, cutting, and de-seeding to create fresh vegetable sticks, perfect for sampling our authentic guacamole and tomato salsa! 😋🇲🇽

We continued the day by exploring six famous Mexican landmarks. We were been busy sketching their beauty and categorising them as either human or physical features. The classrooms were full of budding geographers! 🌍

From the London skyline to the ancient wonders of Mexico! ✈️We spotted the capital’s landmarks from above before refuelling with some in-flight refreshments🥤 As we came in to land, the excitement peaked when we caught sight of the incredible Aztec pyramids! 🇲🇽

Our explorers started their Mexico morning by mapping out a route from the UK to Mexico. 🗺️ After navigating the departure lounge and clearing check-in, they officially boarded the plane! ✈️

Class 6 and 7 had a lovely afternoon together tasting fruit. We enjoyed trying new fruit that lots of us hadn’t tried before. We are working towards our 'Healthy Lifestyles' Delta Stars card by making healthy choices and exploring healthy food. #DeltaStars #HealthyLifestyles

Class 6 enjoyed using stethoscopes as part of our Science work. We listened to our heart rates before exercise then we did some running and checked our heart rates again! We couldn’t believe the difference! #Science #REC

Nursery have been so excited to discover their new Inspirational Role Model for this term! We have loved learning facts about Nadiya Hussain and cannot wait to use her 'Bake Me a Story' book to inspire some yummy baking! #InspirationalRoleModel @BegumNadiya
