⚖️ Publishers Sue Anna’s Archive, Alleging Massive Copyright Infringement A coalition of 13 publishers, including @ElsevierConnect, @wileyinresearch, and @WeAreTandF, has filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Anna’s Archive, alleging large-scale copyright infringement and seeking a permanent injunction to halt the site’s operations. The compliant states that Anna’s Archive indexes and provides access to tens of millions of books and scholarly articles drawn from other shadow libraries, making them available without authorization.
