Tractor collision on N11 leaves three prisoners, officer critically injured A horrific accident on the N11 near Groblersdal today, Friday has left three prisoners and a police officer in critical condition after the state vehicle they were travelling in collided with a tractor. The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety confirmed that the police van was transporting inmates to Middelburg when the crash occurred next to Roslyn Farm. Preliminary reports indicate the tractor was crossing the highway at the time of the collision. All four injured were rushed to Groblersdal Hospital, where they are receiving urgent medical care. “The department appreciates all stakeholders who provided assistance at the scene and wishes all those injured a speedy recovery,” said spokesperson briefed on the incident. This latest crash highlights ongoing safety concerns on the N11, a route known for heavy agricultural vehicle crossings and mixed traffic. The department reiterated its call for motorists to remain vigilant and obey road rules. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the tractor driver was injured or if any criminal charges will follow. An investigation into the exact cause is underway.

In my community, we have this guy we call MaQuestion. He is a hustler. He was recently released from jail. He sells amagwinya and chips, usually he goes door to door. If unithola nithi nisuthi, he will ask what time does the family eat. The following day he will come back early and say, “Azishe! Nithe Nidla ngo8, manje ngu 7 so thengani” and you will have no choice but to buy. So this other family tried to be clever and decided to tell him that they don't eat anything for breakfast. UMaQuestion wathi soke sbone, he took a chair wahlala near the fridge the whole day, while he kept saying, “NiyaFasta ne wow” then take out ipolony out of the fridge and eat with igwinya. That time kids had already started crying because of hunger, phela since efike ngo 6am uMaQuestion and the time is heading to 3pm now. The family had to sacrifice and buy amagwinya kwadliwa. Another family kwaMbesuma was tired of MaQuestion always making them to buy amagwinya and decided to call a community meeting. Hawu!! They were so unlucky because MaQuestion also attended the meeting and decided to sit at the back and they heard him saying, “Ama enemies wam ngiwabona ngokungahlafunyi”. When the meeting started everyone was already eating igwinya. The meeting wasn't even a success because MaQuestion said if they don't want him to sell amagwinya, then he will consider selling Pap and gravy. Kwakhala wonke umuntu, because they wouldn't survived being forced to buy Pap and gravy. As I type this every morning, MaQuestion delivers amagwinya for the whole community. Now we just appreciate that at least he doesn't rob anyone, uyasondla as iCommunity. 😭😭
