Developer time estimation be like: "Should take 2 hours" — 2 hours later — "Ok 2 more hours" — 2 hours later — "I need to rethink my entire life" #DevLife #WebDev

I want to spend $1,000 on new apps and tools today. Show me what you are selling. SaaS, Mobile Apps, Mac Apps, Agents, etc. Drop your link. If I like it, I'm buying.  If I don't buy, I'll give feedback on why I didn't convert. Who wants some customers?

@VibeCoderOfek Exactly. It’s no longer “AI helping devs” it’s dev workflows being designed around AI.

@DevCodeHub99 Cursor + Claude in the pipeline isn’t a nice-to-have anymore it’s the new baseline. My entire flow just leveled up.

Most devs think they're doing AI-native development. They're not. They're doing AI-assisted development with extra steps. There's a massive difference. 🧵

TL;DR — AI-native development changes the entire loop, not just the tools. Here's what that actually means for devs and founders in 2026 🧵 Follow @DevCodeHub99 for more on building with AI.

If you're a dev or founder navigating this shift: What's the hardest part of going AI-native for your team? Drop it below 👇 I write about building with AI at the frontier — follow for more.

In 3 years, "AI-native" won't be a differentiator. It'll be the baseline. The question isn't whether to adopt this workflow. It's whether you build the taste and judgment to make it work before your competitors do.

The teams winning with AI-native dev share one trait: They killed the ego around "writing the code yourself." Ownership = understanding + accountability. Not how many lines you typed. That culture shift is harder than the tooling shift.

For founders: AI-native dev means a 2-person team can move like a 10-person team. But only if one of those 2 knows when to trust the output — and when to rip it out. Velocity is dangerous without judgment. Hire for judgment first.

Here's what keeps AI-native teams up at night: Confidence without comprehension. The model ships code that looks right. Passes tests. Gets merged. Breaks prod 3 weeks later in an edge case nobody prompted for. Reviewing AI output is the hardest new skill in software.

Old loop: think → write → debug → ship AI-native loop: think → prompt → review → steer → ship The bottleneck moved from writing code to evaluating it. Critical thinking > typing speed. Always now.

Unpopular opinion: Junior devs who embrace AI-native workflows will outship senior devs who resist them within 18 months. Not because AI is smarter. Because iteration speed compounds. Agree or disagree? 👇

In AI-native dev, your most important skill isn't syntax. It's decomposition. Breaking a complex problem into chunks a model can reason about — accurately, safely, repeatably. That's engineering. Just a different layer.

AI-assisted: You architect. You write. AI autocompletes. AI-native: You describe outcomes. AI architects, writes, and tests. You review, steer, and ship. One saves you 20% time. The other changes what "developer" means.

I just built my first GenAI-powered assistant It’s a simple CLI tool… but while building it, I learned a lot. Now it can: • Fetch real-time crypto prices 💰 • Get live weather updates 🌦️ • Decide on its own which function to call
