Sarada isn't the most important character in the manga in which she exists. She is, of course, the main female character, but it is not the same role as the main character of the entire manga like Boruto or Naruto.

Sarada is doing the same thing Naruto did, but haters conveniently overlook it all. They also forget that Naruto was the main character, and the entire manga was literally his story.

This friendship has already changed Eida for the better.

Sarada also befriended Eida, whom Konoha's leadership considers an enemy.

By defeating Ryu, she saved Gaara (the Kazekage) and his son, Shinki. Gaara and Shinki will never forget what Sarada.

And she does so again in Chapter 31 of TBV.

She loyally protects the village and its people, as shown in the early chapters of TBV.

She defends Boruto because she knows he's innocent of the accusations Kawaki made against him.
