Gamecocks drop their 5th straight falling 11-8 at home to Charlotte. This team just cannot figure out how to put together a complete performance. If the pitching is there, the bats are not - and vice versa. Very frustrating team. We host Arkansas beginning Friday at 7PM.

South Carolina gets swept and outscored 15-3 in their first SEC series on the year vs. Florida. The schedule does not get easier moving forward. If anything, it gets much harder. All we can do is pray at this point.

Paul Mainieri set out to grab big bats from the transfer portal, who would produce lots of runs. Well, in the past 3 games, this big bat lineup has produced: 28 innings 8 hits (half in 1 game) 2 homers (both in 1 game) 3 runs (all in 1 game) 35 strikeouts Unbelievable.....

Gamecocks fall 3-0 and drop the series to Florida. Back to back shutouts to open up SEC play. An anemic offense has wasted some great pitching from this Carolina staff so far this series. Series finale at Noon tomorrow to try and salvage something from this weekend.

Gamecocks fall in extras as Florida scores on a sac fly to win 1-0. Tremendous effort from Gunther, Valentin, and Stone. The offense continues to struggle, striking out 15 times. We now have 5 hits in the last 18 innings. Something has GOT to change with the approach.
