I feel like it’s interesting how the castings for the Yellowjackets’ parents is mostly (based on like 2 people but still) less well known Canadian actresses then also Molly Ringwald. I’m intrigued by it but don’t yet have a thought about why that is

Im pretty sure the Melissa Milliner thing is just a theory but I always do this thing at work where when I get orders with first name last initial I attribute them to characters or actors for fun and I’ve always thought of Melissa more with Melissa M than Melissa H (hat varietal)

my main reaction to this is i hope the parents side of the story isn’t restricted to survivors. i get they’re limited by screentime and logistics but it’s an ensemble show, i want mari/laura lee/crystal’s parents to be part of the mourning too
