How is Cortex 2.0 at Giga Texas coming along, especially now that we are well into April & @elonmusk mentioned initial operation would begin this month? Well, it is coming along very nicely, thank you. Part 1 of the cooling system & temporary chiller system seems to be operating, including some of the large fans observed rotating. Part 2 of the cooling system is getting the FRP beams assembled to complete the superstructure & fan mounting surface. 2 of the 6 bays are mostly assembled now including some wall panels, while the other 4 show FRP beams being set in place for assembly. The various water lines, drainage systems & other utilities are in the final stages of installation around the facility too, & asphalt roadway paving around the E, N and W sides is underway. The second part of the Megapack setup is getting platforms, scaffolding & more preparation work completed ahead of the next shipment of Megapacks, which will about double the current 130+ installation. Lots of equipment for the cooling systems inside the facility have been delivered and installed, while additional equipment has been observed being moved inside for installation.
