Abrell, a 19 year old Marine serving with the 1st Marine Division, moved forward with his platoon as they began the assault. Then the machine gun fire started. Enemy rounds poured out of a hidden bunker overlooking the slope. The Marines were suddenly pinned down in open ground. Every attempt to move forward was cut off by the deadly fire. The attack stalled. During the fighting, Abrell was struck by grenade fragments. Blood soaked through his uniform, but he refused to stop. Instead of pulling back, he began crawling forward. Past his own squad. Toward the bunker. More enemy fire hit him as he moved closer. Still he kept going. Realizing the only way to break the stalemate was to destroy the position, Abrell pulled the pin on his grenade. Then he charged. He rushed straight toward the bunker and dived inside the enemy position. Seconds later, the grenade exploded. The bunker was destroyed. So was Corporal Abrell. But his sacrifice shattered the enemy defense. With the bunker gone, his platoon surged forward and captured the hill. For his extraordinary courage and sacrifice, Corporal Charles G. Abrell was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. He was only 19 years old. He gave his life so the Marines beside him could keep fighting. Sometimes history remembers the battles. But it is men like Charles Abrell who decide them 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nigel Farage says Reform will review all asylum claims within the last 5 years and will deport up to 400,000 people. Three questions here. Is that enough for you? Do you believe him or is it just false promises? Does he mean the last 5 years, or 5yrs from 2029 if elected?
