I thought when I started my web design business, that I would spend most of my time designing websites... But I find most of my time goes towards admin work. Currently working on a brochure to send to leads after discovery calls. What was one thing you learned when you first started business?

@HamzaInstantly There are very little clients/founders on X mah boy. I get more leads doing nothing on IG lol.

Why does it feel like 99% of designers on X post for other designers 😭 (myself included) Who are some designers whose content actually targeted to clients/founders? Drop names below, I want to get inspired.

When designing this navigation, I aimed to display all the key elements a user would want to see what they land on a tradesmen website - Logo, Nav Links, CTA along with quick visibility of contact details and availability. A lot to fit in, so collapsing the nav on scroll felt like the best approach.

My first template was a portfolio template for photographers. I tried a lot of different things and experimented with many ideas — some of them were even rejected by the reviewer because of UX issues 😄 At first, nobody bought it, so I made it free. Surprisingly, it generated around $290 in affiliate commissions. Then I switched it back to paid for $59 — no sales again. Now I’m going to try $39 and see what happens. Experimenting with pricing, improving quality, learning from feedback… This is the way. ✨
